Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has directed the Kano State Anti-Graft agency to investigate the missing N6.8 million allegedly swallowed by a Gorilla from the State Zoological Gardens.

Naija News had reported that a gorilla was alleged to have swallowed the sum of N6.8 million generated from tourists who visited the zoo during the Eid celebrations.

According to the Finance officers of the Gardens, a huge gorilla sneaked into their office and swallowed the N10 million.

Reacting, Governor Ganduje ordered the Kano anti-graft commission to look into the immediate and remote cause of the allegation.

The governor directed them to unearth everything surrounding the incident.

The Commission has swung into action immediately after the issuance of the order.
