Ondo Assembly Sacks 18 LG Council Chairmen

No fewer than 18 Local Government councils caretaker chairmen in Ondo State, southwest Nigeria, have been sacked by the Ondo State House of Assembly.

According to the House, the dissolution takes effect from Thursday, June 13, 2019.

The House said the dissolution equally affects the supervisory councilors in the state.

Naija News learned that the sacked caretaker chairmen and supervisory councilors were asked handover to the Directors of Local Government Administration, (DLG) with immediate effect.
