Atiku vs Buhari: APC Makes ‘Huge Demand’ From Tribunal Over Atiku’s Citizenship
The All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, has prayed the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to strike out Atiku Abubakar’s petition against President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election on the ground that he is not a Nigerian by birth.
Naija News reports that the ruling party made the demand on Thursday, June 13, before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal headed by Justice Mohammed Lawal Garba.
Atiku Vs Buhari: Election Tribunal Takes Decision On Atiku’s Request To Access INEC Server
The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal has reserved judgement on the application by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku Abubakar to be granted access to inspect the server and data of smart card readers used by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Justice Mohammed Garba-led tribunal took the decision on Thursday after hearing parties involved in the petition.

Court Fixes Date To Deliver Ruling In Case Against Acting CJN Tanko
The Federal High Court in Abuja has scheduled July 12, 2019 to ruling in the suit seeking to halt the appointment of Justice Tanko Muhammad, as substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
The suit against the Acting CJN was filed by the Board of Incorporated Trustees of Malcolm Omirhobo Foundation.
Forged WAEC Certificate: Justice Effiong Adjourn Case Against Gov. Abdulrazaq
Justice Bassey Effiong, the Chairman of Election Petition Tribunal in Kwara, on Thursday, adjourned the case of the forged West African Examinations Council allegation against the Kwara State governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
The judge had stalled the judgement to allow a representative of WAEC present evidence of the writ commanding him to appear in court.
