Gunmen Set Woman Ablaze In Ondo

Three suspected gunmen on Wednesday set ablaze a 34-year old businesswoman identified as Tricia Adeyemi.

Naija News understands that the attackers invaded her house at 10B Olorunsogo Street, Odojomu in Ondo State, around 7 p.m.

The assailants were said to have demanded to see her husband, who was not at home as at that time of the attack.

Mrs Adeyemi was beaten up by the rootless attackers, tied with a rope in her bedroom while, set the apartment set ablaze while the gunmen ran for safety.

Naija News was informed that the victim was rescued by her neighbours who heard her screaming on the top of her voice for help.

“I was rescued by our neighbours before the arrival of firefighters,” she said.

Adeyemi urged the Ondo State Police Command to do all within its capacity to tackle the matters of insecurity in Odojomu and Ondo state at large.
