'Emefiele, Buhari Now Put To Shame' - Fani-Kayode Reacts To Supreme Court's Ruling On Naira Policy

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for naming the Abuja National Stadium after MKO Abiola.

Naija News had reported that the Abuja stadium will now be called the Moshood Abiola stadium.

The President made this known while delivering a speech to mark the 2019 June 12 Democracy Day celebration at the Eagles Square in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital territory.

This coming in less than one month into Buhari’s second term as President of Nigeria.

Reacting in a post on Twitter on Wednesday, Fani-Kayode stated that people from the Southwest shall never forget this act of kindness and compassion.

He wrote: “The proposal by Buhari to name the National Stadium in Abuja after Chief MKO Abiola is commendable and generous.

“Those of us from the SW and indeed all June 12th and NADECO fighters and veterans from all over the country shall never forget this act of kindness and compassion.”
