There was chaos in the Senate on Tuesday over the method to be adopted for the election of principal officers of the Ninth Assembly.

The National Assembly management had adopted the secret ballot voting pattern which did not go down well with pro-Lawan senators-elect.

They claimed that a court order had directed the use of the open ballot.
