Certificate Of Return: INEC Reveals When It Will Decide Okorocha’s Fate

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will be meeting tomorrow to look at the Court rulings on the issuance of certificates of return to Rochas Okorocha.

Naija News recalls the 9th National Assembly will be inaugurated tomorrow as it might be impossible for the former Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha be part of the election of the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives is also expected to emerge at its first plenary session the same Tuesday.

Meanwhile, in another development, Rochas Okorocha has accused his successor, Emeka Ihedioha, of behaving as if he is still in the House of Representatives.

Okorocha said this in a statement in Owerri, the state capital, on Sunday by his media aide, Sam Onwuemeodo.

He said instead of Ihedioha to start work in earnest as the state governor, he had been busy setting up committees as if he was still a member of the House of Representatives.

Ihedioha was Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2011 and 2015.
