CAF President, Ahmad Freed By French Police Without Charge

President of the Confederation of African Football, (CAF)  Ahmad Ahmad has been released earlier today in Paris by the Central Office for the Fight against Corruption and Financial and Tax Offences.

Naija News recalls that the 58-year-old Madagascan football administrator who is also the 1st Vice President of FIFA was detained in Paris after his re-election at the 69th FIFA Congress which ended on Wednesday.

According to a report received by Naija News, his passport has been handed to him, meaning he is free to travel.
