A popular traditional medicine practitioner (herbalist) in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria, Igwe Onyeachonam Ofomba, has predicted that Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party,  in the 2019 general elections, will win at the tribunal.

Naija News recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared President Muhammadu Buhari who participated in the election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, winner of the February 23 Presidential election.

The commission had said figures from the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) gave Buhari 15,191,847 votes, while Abubakar came second with 11,262,978 votes.

Challenging the results at the election tribunal in his 139-page petition, Abubakar said the results from INEC server showed he polled 18,356,732 votes to defeat Buhari who had 16,741,430 votes.

Last week, the legal team of the PDP and its presidential candidate, wrote to the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, expressing their concern over delayed tribunal hearing. This came after she recused herself from the tribunal.

Meanwhile, ahead of the tribunal sitting, a popular Anambra herbalist says Abubakar has been destined to become Nigeria’s President this year.

Ofomba said by divine arrangement,  the PDP Presidential candidate would emerge victorious at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, insisting that if the tribunal does not declare Abubakar winner, he (Ofomba) will resign his traditional medicine practice.

Naija News learned that the popular herbalist made the declaration at this year’s celebration of the Onwa Nge Festival in Nando Community, Anambra East Local Government Area.

A report monitored on The Guardian by Naija News, quoted the herbalist to have said that God revealed Abubakar’s presidency to him through the 1,777 spirits he deals with, adding that he (Atiku) was unstoppable in clinching the presidency.

Addressing a crowd at the festival where he was celebrating from his Ezi Nando, throne, Ofomba said: “I am new servant of the new covenant, I deal with 1,777 spirits. Atiku Abubakar will be president of Nigeria this year through the tribunal and to assure you that he will emerge victorious and be declared winner.

“If what I am saying fails, I will resign my traditional medicine practice. I will make it known to the world through the electronic and print media that I have resigned if this prophecy fails.

“I said it before the elections that Atiku will and must be president of Nigeria. The 2019 presidential election was marred by electoral illegalities, which prevented Atiku from having outright victory and so the court will do the needful by giving him his stolen mandate as God has destined,’ the popular herbalist added.
