Following his inauguration, President Muhammadu Buhari is set to make key appointments into his kitchen cabinet and the federal executive council. According to findings President Buhari may appoint any of the trio of, Retired Col. Hameed Ali, current Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) outgone Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, or former Lagos State governor and outgone Minister of Works, Housing and Power, Babatunde Raji Fashola, as his new Chief of Staff.

2. How National Assembly Inauguration Is Delaying Oshiomhole’s Sack

The upcoming elections of new leaders of the 9th National Assembly have helped put a hold on the sack of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole. It was gathered that the ruling party wants to go into the elections as a united force against the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

3. You Lack The Capacity To Run APC – Oyegun Slams Oshiomhole

The immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, John Odigie-Oyegun, has attacked the leadership style of his successor, Adams Oshiomhole. In his submission, Oshiomhole is not fit to be in charge of any political party.

4. Court Fixes Date For APC’s Oshiomhole

A high court sitting in Makurdi, the Benue state capital has fixed Thursday, July 11 to rule on the application brought before it by counsel to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Adams Oshiomhole in the libellous suit filed against him by Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State. Naija News understands that Governor Ortom had filed the suit against Oshiomhole over a press conference in which the APC National Chairman was said to have made libellous statements against the Benue Governor.

5. Dogara Speaks On 9th Assembly Speakership Ambition

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara has dismissed reports that he is planning to contest for the Speakership of the 9th National Assembly. In a statement by his media aide, Turaki Hassan, Dogara said the clarification became necessary to distance the Speaker from the fake news being pushed and circulated by mischief makers and enemies of progress.
