Naira Marley Set To Be Released On Monday – Management

Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley, also known as Afeez Fashola, will be released from Ikoyo prison in Lagos state on Monday.

Recall that the rapper was arrested alongside three other for charges bordering on fraud.

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission had arraigned Naira Marley on an 11-count charge on May 20.

The commission had claimed that the 11 charges were bordering on fraud for alleged credit card fraud.

Naija News had earlier reported that the rapper was granted a bail of 2 million on Thursday.

The rapper’s management took to his Instagram account to announce to his fans that he would be released.

The management further revealed that all the bail conditions given to the rapper have been perfected.

According to the management, the rapper would remain in Ikoyi prison until Monday when the court confirms the bail terms.
