Lagos News: Governor Sanwo-Olu Appoints New SSG
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appointed former Head of Service in the state, Folasade Jaji, as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
This was made known in a statement on Thursday by the Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
The new SSG, a chemist, had served as the 17th Head of Service of the state’s Public Service.
Court Grants Naira Marley N2 Million Bail
A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, has granted Nigerian musician Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley, bail in the sum of N2 million.
At the resumption of bail application today, Olalekan Ojo, Naira Marley’s lead defense counsel, apologized for his absence at the initial arraignment on May 20 due to heavy down poor.
Naira Marley’s lead defense counsel prayed the court to accept the bail application Prima Facie based on the presumption of his innocence in accordance with Section 162 (1).
Sanwo-Olu Did Not Appointment Me Chief Of Staff – Ayinde
The Director General of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu‘s campaign organisation, Akinmade Ayinde, has denied reports of his appointment as Chief of Staff to the Lagos State governor
In a statement on Thursday, he stated that the Sanwo-Olu is yet to make an appointment.
