APC, PDP Senators Disagree Over Electronic Transmission Of Election Results

Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu has announced that the 8th Senate will hold its valedictory session on Thursday, June 6.

Senator Ekweremadu (PDP-Enugu) made this known at the end of plenary on Thursday.

He said all senators should endeavour to be present at the valedictory session, which will mark the end of the lifespan of the 8th Senate.

The 8th Senate was inaugurated on June 9, 2015, with Senators Bukola Saraki and Ekweremadu emerging as Senate President and Deputy Senate President respectively.

Naija News reports that the executive arm of government, which has President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has been inaugurated for a second term.
