What EFCC Said About Okorocha’s Arrest

The rumored reports on the arrest of the immediate past governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha by the Economic and Financial Crimes and Commission, (EFCC), has attracted the commission’s reaction.

Recall reports had emerged on Thursday that EFCC operatives had arrested Okorocha and his wife, Nkechi.

The report also had it that the former governor’s Eastern Palm University, Ogboko was also sealed off.

However when contacted, the spokesperson of the anti-graft agency, Tony Orilade described the reports as “fake news.”

Orilade said, “Such report that Okorocha and wife have been arrested is fake news, disregard it.”
