Guests, Diplomats Had To Stand At Presidential Dinner, See Why

A mild drama ensued yesterday night at the presidential inauguration dinner, as the venue was fully filled such that many invited guests including diplomats were forced to stand.

Naija News understands that many of the guests fought their way into the venue and the vehicular movement was also affected.

To address the situation, the Master of Ceremony had to appeal that, “for those of you that don’t have seats, please go to the overflow.”

The event was planned to commence by 8:05pm but was delayed till 8:30pm because the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo arrived at the venue late.
