Arsenal want Gomes

Arsenal are the latest club to show interest in Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, who is also said to be wanted by Tottenham.

Newcastle interested in Benfica goalkeeper

Benfica goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos has become a subject of interest for English club, Newcastle according to O Jogo.

The Portuguese media outlet claim that Newcastle have already opened discussions over a possible move for the keeper, but no deal is yet in place.

Vlachodimos is valued at around €15 million (£13m) by Benfica.

Real close in on new midfielder

Real Madrid are close to agreeing a deal to sign Lyon midfielder Ferland Mendy.

Marca reports that while no fee has been agreed between the two clubs, there is an understanding that the 23-year-old will move to the Bernabeu in the off-season and a deal is expected in the coming weeks.
