The police in Anambra State has again warned all to disregard the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)‘s sit at home order, planned to hold in two days time, May 30. This is also as a statement yesterday in Awka, the Anambra State capital, by the outlawed association said that no intimidation and harassment from security operatives would make its members withdraw the planned enforcement of its order.

2. Biafra: Why We Ordered May 30 As Sit-At-Home – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said its sit-at-home order to members will serve as a reminder to the overlords in Nigeria that Biafrans are united. In a statement on Monday by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful on Monday, the pro-Biafra group advised the Nigeria police force and other security agencies to stay indoors and respect that day.

3. Fulanisation: Obasanjo, Nnamdi Kanu On Same Page – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s comment on “Fulanisation” and “Islamisation” of Nigeria was only a repetition of what its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, said before. The former president had stated that the issue of Boko Haram and herdsmen should be tackled with seriousness.
