The Federal Government of Nigeria has revealed that it will create at least 20 million jobs for Nigerians during the second term of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Naija News reports that the federal government made this known through the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelamah, while speaking on Monday during a meeting on job creation organised by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

In his speech on the plans of the federal government to reduce the spate of unemployment in the country, Enelamah said the jobs will be created from four key sectors.

“In order to sustain and build on the successes recorded in this regard in the first tenure of President, we are articulating and strategising with a renewed impetus towards combating the twin evils of unemployment and insecurity,” the Minister said.

Buhari will be inaugurated for a second term in office on Wednesday, May 29 after he emerged as winner in the February Presidential election where he defeated his closest counterpart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar among other presidential aspirants.
