A former Governor of Abia State, southeast Nigeria and Senator-elect, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, has endorsed the candidature of the Senate Leader, Senator Ahmed Lawan, for the position of the Senate President of the 9th Nigerian Senate. The Senator representing Oyo North District, Senator Fatai Buhari, says Senate Leader, Senator Ahmed Lawan, will become 9th Senate President because he already has 51 endorsement signatures from senators. Naija News understands that Senator Buhari on Sunday while responding to questions from journalists in Ibadan, Oyo state, where he noted that Yobe North lawmaker has 51 endorsement signatures from 66 senators-elect on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party.
