Naija News has obtained the details of a trending video in which a groom abandoned his own wedding ceremony in the middle of the reception programme.

The incident which our reporter gathered occurred in Lagos, Nigeria has been generating several reactions.

In the video, the bride, chief bride’s maid, the best man and some others can be seen crying and running after the groom but all efforts to pacify the groom landed on deaf ears.

It is however uncertain, what prompted the groom to take such a drastic decision right during his own wedding ceremony.

Recall that similarly, Naija News recently reported the case of a bride who ran away from her wedding ceremony when she discovered the groom lied to her about his place of work.
