The Supreme Court has on Friday, delivered judgement on the 2018 governorship election in Ekiti state which produced Governor Kayode Fayemi as the winner. The apex court, in a unanimous judgment on Friday, upheld Fayemi’s election as the governor of Ekiti State, The Nation reports.

British Prime Minister, Theresa May, has tearfully announced her decision to step down from her position on June 7, bringing an end to controversies surrounding her leadership. Some students of Caleb University, Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial city, on Friday, clashed with officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) within the school premises.
