The plan by the Federal Government to set up a radio station for herdsmen has been opposed by the leaders of the Southern and Middle Belt Forum.

In a statement signed by Yinka Odumakin (South-West), Senator Bassey Henahaw(South-South), Dr. Isuwa Dogo (Middle-Belt) and Professor Chigozie Ogbu (South-East) said it received the news with rude shock.

Why Police Council, President Buhari Confirmed Mohammed Adamu As IGP

Mohammed Adamu was on Thursday confirmed as the Inspector-General of Police by the Police Council headed by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has lamented his constant harassment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had withdrawn the certificate of return of the governor for Imo west senatorial district, saying Okorocha was declared winner by returning officer under duress.
