Governor Bagudu Replaces Okorocha As Chairman APC Governors’ Forum

Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, has been elected as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Governors Forum.

The APC governors forum revealed this on Friday through their Twitter handle.

“We are very glad to announce that Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State Government is now our Chairman. Ensuing press releases and briefings will be made to this effect,”.

Governor Bagudu will be replacing the outgoing Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha who will end his eight-year tenure on May 29.

Governor Bagudu while speaking after his emergence at a meeting which took place at Imo Governor’s lodge Abuja, stated that he will provide leadership to PGF to realise collective vision so as to build a strong, democratic and inclusive APC.

He also pledged to “mobilise all party members and by extension Nigerians towards expanding and deepening democratic structures of the party.”
