De Gea To Miss Spurs Game Due To COVID-19 Testing Issue

With clubs extending hands of love to players in the summer transfer window, Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea, has rejected the club’s latest contract offer.

Real Madrid has shown interest in the Red Devils goalkeeper in the past few months.

According to the SUN, De Gea is set to leave Old Trafford after discussion between him and the club’s board over a new contract stalled.

A report had it that Manchester United have submitted a bid for Ajax goalkeeper, Andre Onana, as De Gea’s replacement.

His deal is expected to expire in 2020 after the Red Devils activated an automatic one-year extension earlier this season.

De Gea is demanding for an increase in his pay which would see him earn £400,000 a week.

The executive vice-chairman of the club, Ed Woodward, is not willing to agree to the terms of the goalkeeper and has decided to seek for a replacement.
