AFCON 2019 host Egypt have announced their preliminary squad for the tournament.

Asamoah Gyan Hangs International Football Boot

Ghanaian footballer legend, Asamoah Gyan, has retired from international football, few weeks to the commencement of the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

In a post on his Twitter handle, Gyan, who has been with the Black Stars for 16 years shared a statement titled, “Decision to recuse myself from AFCON 2019, Egypt and retire from the national team”.
