EFCC Arrests Suspected ‘Yahoo Boys’ In Abuja

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the Abuja Zonal office have on Friday, arrested ten suspected internet fraudsters, popularly known as ‘Yahoo Boys.’

Naija News understands that Nigeria’s anti-graft agency gave the names of those arrested as; Habib Adeyemi, Lawal Kehinde, Victory Jemibor, Solomon Enuneke, Ubgehi Joshua and Tosan Ogbe. Others are Onajite Ejovwo, Anthony Igbonoeme, Tunde Azeez and Adeyemi Habib.

The operatives swung into action following an intelligence report on their activities.

This online news platform understands that the arrested suspects are youths within the age bracket of 25-32 years old.

Some of the items recovered from them are; two (2) exotic cars Six (6) laptops, 10 smartphones and 1 international passport.

The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
