1. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu To Hold ‘Live Global Address’ Today, See Time

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, will later today, Thursday, May 16, hold what he tagged a “live global address.” Naija News reports that the secessionist leader made this known in a tweet on the micro0blogging site, Twitter on Wednesday, May 15.

2. Biafra Youths Knock Presidency For Comparing Ohanaeze With Miyetti Allah, Afenifere

The Biafra Nations Youth League, (BYNL) has chided President Muhammadu Buhari for comparing Ohaneze, the Igbo socio-political; group with Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, MACBAN, and that of the Yoruba’s, Afenifere. The spokesperson of President Buhari, Shehu Garba, speaking at a program on Channels Television on Tuesday had said the Miyetti Allah group is just like Afenifere and Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, ‘It is a socio-cultural group’ he said, adding that there were criminals in each socio-political group.

3. Biafra: Police Speak On What Will Happen As IPOB Declares Sit-At-Home Order In Anambra State

The Police command in Anambra state has asked residents of the state to disregard the sit-at-home order issued by members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. Naija News recalls IPOB had released a statement where it stated its resolve to lockdown ‘Biafra land’ on May 30 in remembrance of slain “Biafra” citizens.

4. Pro-Biafra Group Vows To Hunt Down Prophet Nwoko Killers

Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) has stated that it will not relent in the ongoing hunt against the killers of late Pro-Biafra Prophet Anthony Nwoko. BNYL was responding to the recent statement from the Chief Security of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Enugu chapter, Victor Egede who denied any involvement in the killing of the cleric.
