JAMB: 2 Simple Steps To Check 2019 UTME Results On The Portal

Naija News has obtained two simple steps to check the results of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) through the websites portal.

This is coming after the examination body has said that it has already started uploading the results of candidates to their respective dashboards on the JAMB portal.

Naija News understands that JAMB made this known in a tweet on Thursday, May 16.

Candidates can now check their results on the JAMB portal using their profile and clicking on "Check UTME Examination Results"

This online news platform recalls that JAMB had disclosed that it had standardised its result checker process, noting that candidates who sat for the 2019 UTME can check their results via their phones through a text message with a registration number.

“Candidates should not bother themselves going to any cyber cafe to check any result. Our result check has been standardised. We will forward the results to the respective telephone numbers of those candidates who are deserving of it,” a spokesman for the board, Fabian Benjamin, had said in April.

Following the release of the 2019 UTME results earlier today, where the board withheld the results of 34,120 candidates for various infractions, Naija News brings to you the two simple steps to check the results without going to the cyber cafe.

Here are two simple steps on how to check 2019 UTME results through the JAMB portal…

1. Open the Jamb website to enter your registration number or registered e-mail address in the section provided on the portal.

2. Proceed to click on “Check UTME Exam results,” then wait patiently to load your result within seconds.

Make sure you are connected to a reliable network provider as your network will also determine the time the portal would load the result.

Meanwhile, JAMB said it simplified the way to check results for the 2019 examination to avoid extortion of candidates.
