The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, on Tuesday paid a sum of N6million to Police operatives and informants who enhanced the arrest of suspects involved in the murder of Frank Anthony Igboka in Nimo and Ndubuisi Nwokolo in Onitsha.

In a statement released by the Anambra State Police Command, it revealed that the state Governor redeemed his pledge of #5million as a reward to the Police operatives and informants who work towards the arrest of the suspected killers.

The command also stated that Obiano released the sum of #1million to informants who provided information for the arrest of Ikechukwu Udensi also known as IKANDA.

He was declared wanted last year for killing.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Mustapha Dandaura, while presenting the cash reward to the beneficiaries, thanked His Excellency Governor Willie Obiano for fulfilling his promise and restates the Command’s readiness to sustain its onslaught against crime and criminality in the state.”

However, the identity of the beneficiaries of the funds was not given by the command.
