President Muhammadu Buhari has invited the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, to the presidential villa Abuja.

A source close to the seat of power made the disclosure to Daily Post on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the invitation sent earlier in the day, the duo will meet tonight.

It is unclear if the parley will be private as during Ramadan, the president invites heads of security agencies and parastatals; lawmakers, religions and traditional leaders; businessmen, entertainment personalities, youths among others to break the fast with him.

The meeting will hold amid fresh probe of the former Kwara governor by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

On Tuesday, Ibrahim Magu, the acting chairman, declared that the fresh investigation of Saraki was not a witch-hunt.
