Naija News reports that JAMB released results of 1,792,719 candidates who sat for this year’s UTME today, Saturday, May 11, exactly twenty-two days after it conducted the examination.

Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), on Saturday broke down in tears as he announced the release of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Oloyede was in tears over the discovery made during the period of scrutiny of the examination centres.

3. Kano: Finally, Sanusi Reacts To Ganduje Creating New Emirates

Adam Lamido Sanusi (Ashraf), a son of Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, has said the creation of four new emirates by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje will only stand if the governor was on the right path. Chairman of the three-man panel, Justice W. O. Akanbi during pre-hearing session on Friday noted that owing to the nature of the case which is bound by timelines, it would be in the interest of the parties to allow them to proceed to the main subject of the case while the ruling on the preliminary objection will come as part of the final judgement of the tribunal.
