Who Is In Charge Of Nigeria As Both Buhari And Osinbajo Travel Out Of The Country?

Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says President Muhammadu Buhari is concerned about the welfare of the poor and interested in how to make his life better for them.

Naija News reports that the Vice President made this statement on Saturday, May 11, during his one-day working visit to Bauchi state, northern Nigeria, where he commissioned some projects.

Projects commissioned by Osinbajo during his visit include the Bauchi state Health Contributory Scheme (BSHCS) and the Bauchi Health Trust Fund offices among other projects.

Osinbajo told the people of Bauchi State that the President introduced Social Investment Programmes (SIPs) to ameliorate the challenges of poverty and unemployment because of his concerns for the Nigerien people.

“Our administration’s priority is the welfare of the common man. President Buhari has always been concerned about the poor and how the government will make his life better,” he said.

The Vice President commended the people of Bauchi state for embracing the Social Investment Programmes (SIPs) components in the state.
