Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has taken a dig at the Emir of Kano, Muhammed Sanusi II and Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano had whittled down Emir Sanusi’s influence through the creation of four additional emirates in Kano State.

Naija News recalls that Ganduje on Saturday installed four new emirs for Bichi, Rano, Karaye, and Gaya following a new law passed by the state legislature splitting the Kano emirate.

Also, Governor Rochas Okorocha lost control of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo following a failed bid to install his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, as governor and win election into the Nigeria Senate.

Lamenting his present ordeal, the governor had stated that he has suffered more under the APC, than under his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Both Sanusi and Okorocha were instrumental in the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari over ex-President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 elections.

In a post on Twitter on Sunday, Fani-Kayode mocked the duo for supporting “tyrant” Buhari.

He wrote: “They joined the forces of darkness in 2015, maligned and demonised Jonathan and put Buhari in power.

“They cheered Buhari on as he persecuted those of us that stood with Jonathan for 4 years.

“Now the tyrant has turned on them as well and they are not laughing anymore.”
