EPL: Kanu Reveals Who Should Be Arsenal Next Manager

This is Naija News compilation of the latest Arsenal news online for today, Tuesday, May 7th, 2019.

Outgoing Arsenal star Ramsey credits Fabregas, Rosicky and Nasri with making him the player he is today

Aaron Ramsey is preparing to bid farewell to Arsenal but will be forever grateful to the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Tomas Rosicky and Samir Nasri for moulding him into a player that Juventus were so keen to acquire.

The Wales international midfielder has a pre-contract agreement in place with the Serie A champions.

He will be moving to Turin over the summer, once his current deal in north London comes to an end, with a new challenge being embraced after 11 years at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal to appoint Edu as new technical director

Arsenal has agreed to a deal for Edu to return to the club as technical director, Goal understands.

After failing to land primary target Monchi in March, the Gunners turned their attention to their former midfielder – who made 127 appearances for the club between 2001 and 2005.

And talks with the 40-year-old, who is currently general coordinator for the Brazil national side, have proved successful – with Edu having agreed to return to north London following the completion of this summer’s Copa America.

Nketiah nominated for PL2 Player of the Month

The 19-year-old forward only made one appearance for Freddie Ljungberg’s side, but it was an impressive one, as he scored twice and assisted once in our 3-1 win over Chelsea.

Nketiah remains our top goalscorer in the competition this season with nine goals in 10 appearances.

Other contenders for the award are:

Aaron Connolly (Brighton & Hove Albion)
Bassala Sambou (Everton)
Morgan Feeney (Everton)
Rafael Camacho (Liverpool)
Elias Sorensen (Newcastle United)
Adam Idah (Norwich City)
Danny Loader (Reading)
Will Smallbone (Southampton)

The winner will be announced on the evening of Wednesday, May 16
