President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the Acting Inspector-General was working hard to curtail the insecurity challenges in the country.
Naija News understands that Buhari in his statement when he arrived at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital after his 10-days private visit to London, said that Adamu was doing all he could to put a stop to the security challenges experienced in some parts of the country.
Buhari said the efforts of Adamu has made him lose weight.
Buhari spoke on Sunday on arrival from his 10-day private visit to the United Kingdom.
In a video tweeted by a journalist at the VOA, Saleh Shehu Ashaka, via his verified Twitter handle @AshakaSaleh, a reporter had asked the President: “Are we likely to see a different approach in the fight against insecurity, especially kidnapping, which is a big issue now Sir?”
In his response, Buhari said; “You know, I have just seen the IG, he is… I think he is losing weight; so, I think he is working very hard.”
