The House of Representatives on Thursday reinvited President Muhammadu Buhari to appear before it and explain matters concerning insecurity in some parts of the country.

Naija News reports that the house has asked the President to appear before the house and address Nigerians on the recent killings in the country.

The house gave the President a 48-hour ultimatum to make the appearance and address Nigerians.

The lower chamber summons to explain how his administration would solve the security challenges faced in some parts of the country.

The lower chamber had accused the President of failing in his responsibility of securing lives and properties in the country.

This seems to be the second time that the President would be summoned by the lower chamber to answer to the issue of security in the country.

Naija News recalls that the President was earlier on Thursday, April 11 summoned to appear before the House over the same issue.

The lower chamber is clamouring on the appearance of the President due to the series of killings in some parts of the country particularly in states like Zamfara, Benue, Kaduna, among others that have been under several attacks.
