The 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, Atiku Abubakar, has assured millions of his supporters that he would reclaim his “stolen mandate”

2. Biafra: Massive Crowd Welcome IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu In Germany

A massive crowd of cheering supporters mobbed the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu in Bavaria Munich, Germany.

Naija News recalls that the secessionist leader had announced April 24 on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, that he would address IPOB Family in Germany in a scheduled Townhall meeting on Saturday.

3. Buhari Asked To Probe Abba Kyari Daughter’s Appointment

A civil rights organization group has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately order an investigation into the appointment of Ms. Aisha Abba Kyari, as an Assistant Vice President at the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA).

Differences among incoming federal legislators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over who to support for Senate President and House of Representatives Speaker in June are not about to abate any moment soon, an investigation has revealed.

The PDP, according to multiple sources, is mobilizing its members to vote against the official candidates of the APC for the two positions to put the opposition party in a position to influence decisions in the legislature.

5. Ajimobi Breaks Silence On Oyo Senatorial Election Loss

Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has declared that he was not feeling bad about his senatorial election defeat to Dr Kola Balogun of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

6. Army Confirms Killing Of Bandits In Zamfara

The Operation Sharan Daji of the Nigerian Army says its operatives have killed four bandits in Zamfara state.

Naija News report that the Army also said that the criminals wounded six Nigerian soldiers involved in the intensive gun-duel that lasted hours.

Controversial Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo says that the Davido Music World (DMW) boss, David Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name as Davido is broke.

Kemi Olunloyo claims that Davido is now broke after he paid about $15M for radio airplay in the cause of his radio tour in the US.

10. Norwich Gain Promotion To English Premier League

Norwich City have returned to the English Premier League, after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Blackburn at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The Canaries went two goals up in the first half through Marco Stiepermann and Mario Vrancic.
