Biafra: 'How Nnamdi Kanu Predicted Atiku's Supreme Court Defeat To Buhari'

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has denied reports that he collected money from the 2019 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

Naija News understands that the secessionist leader made this during a recent live broadcast on Radio Biafra.

This online news platform recalls that there have been rumours in some quarters that the IPOB leader received money from the PDP candidate to support him before and during the Presidential election.

Speaking on the rumours, Kanu said he never collected money from the former Vice President noting that “if anyone is in doubt, let him or her approach Atiku for answers.”

His words: “I never collected money from Atiku and if anyone is in doubt, let him or her approach Atiku for answers. Both PDP and APC agents approached me and told me to give up the struggle for Biafra and I told them that, IPOB will only do so if the following things will be fulfilled.

“We lifted the boycott of election because both parties agreed to our terms & conditions.

“If we are wrong to give the Nigerian elites the opportunity to fail themselves, let the Biafrans voice out,” he added.

Meanwhile, Kanu is leading a group seeking secession from Nigeria. The group has since been proscribed by the Nigerian government.
