Buratai Reveals Where Bandits Live
The Chief of Army staff, Tukur Buratai, says the security agencies need the support of Nigerians in the fight against insurgency, noting that bandits live among ordinary citizens.
Naija News reports that Buratai made this comment on Tuesday when he declared open the 2019 Nigerian army infantry corps conference in Jaji, Kaduna state, northern Nigeria.

Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka has accused former President, Olusegun Obasanjoof contributing to the creation of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
Featuring on BBC’s Hardtalk anchored by Zeinab Badawi, Soyinka explained that the former president failed to stop a Northern governor from creating what he termed “theocratic state”, hence he contributed to the emergence of the terror group.
Saraki Tells Tinubu What To Do To Lawmakers
Senate President Bukola Saraki has advised the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to allow lawmakers to elect their leaders in the National Assembly.
In a post on his Twitter page on Tuesday, Saraki told Tinubu to ensure that everything was done in consultation with the party’s leadership.
Senate Presidency: APC Governors Take Over Lawan’s Campaign
The 22 governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have begun moves to rally necessary support for the Senate Leader, Senator Ahmed Lawan, towards his emergence as the Senate president of the ninth National Assembly.
Already, the governors had met with APC senators-elect from their respective states and told them the need to support the ambition of Lawan in line with the directive of the national leadership of APC.

The President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, has dismissed the allegation that a Judge loyal to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was included as a member of the Osun State Governorship Election Appeal Panel.
The panel was constituted to hear an appeal seeking to reverse the majority judgment of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal that sacked Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC from office and declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the valid winner.

El-Zakzaky: Shi’ites Issues Strong Warning To Buhari
The Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shi’ites has warned the Federal Government not to push them to the wall in their demand for the release of their leader, Sheik Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
They gave the warning on Tuesday during a procession to mark the 68th birthday of El-Zakzaky and 1,224 days of his detention in Abuja.
