The Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu has ordered an investigation into the alleged killing of members of Boys’ Brigade of ECWA Church, Bamusa, Barunde, Madaki, and St Peter’s Anglican Church in Gombe State by his men.

Naija News reports that eight members of Boys Brigade were killed after an NSCDC officer allegedly rammed into them with his vehicle while they were holding an Easter procession on Saturday.

A statement made available to Naija News on Tuesday from the headquarters in Abuja said Gana, has sent a high powered delegation to condole with the government and people of Gombe State over the incident.

The Commandant General further assured the general public of his readiness to personally handle the case on his return from his official trip.

Meanwhile, Gana is away to attend to the International Civil Defence Meeting abroad, the statement disclosed.
