Atiku Vs Buhari: 13 Adhoc Staff Admit Transmitting Election Results To INEC Server

No fewer than 13 ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), Nigeria’s electoral umpire, have admitted transmitting results of the February 23 presidential election to the server of the commission.

Naija News recalls that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, Atiku Abubakar, had alleged that results from INEC server showed that he won the election, a claim which the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party condemned strongly.

Osun Gov’ship Election: Appeal Court Fixes Date For Hearing

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has scheduled hearing for April 24 in the appeals filed by the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola and his party, the APC against the March 22, 2019, ruling by the Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal.

Information about the hearing date is contained in notices sent to parties by the court’s Registry, a copy of which The Nation sighted on Monday in Abuja.

The major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday slammed the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as a “mass failure.”
