Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has said the Igbos have suffered much vilification, humiliation, persecution and genocide than any other tribe in Nigeria.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made this known in a post on his Twitter page on Friday.

The former minister stated that the Igbos have refused to bow, tremble and surrender or abandoned their culture, identity, heritage and faith in the face of the persecution.

Fani-Kayode wrote, “No tribe in Nigeria has been subjected to as much vilification, humiliation, persecution and genocide as the Igbo.

“Other tribes have suffered as well but unlike them the Igbos have refused to bow, tremble and surrender or abandon their culture, identity, heritage and faith.”
