13-Year-Old Boy Killed, One Other Injured In Fresh SARS Brutality

A 13-year old boy identified as Precious Gladstone has been killed while one Turuchi, 27 was left severely injured after the brutality of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Rivers state.

Naija News understands that the 13-year old boy lost his life after the Policemen attached to the Atali/Elimgbu Police station allegedly opened fire on the crowd of protesters who had stormed the station to protest the killing of one of their friends identified as Chinedu.

The crowd alleged that Chinedu was stabbed to death by the police for refusing to submit his Phone to the officers for inspection.

Precious Gladstone joined the crowd of protesters to the Police station and was killed in the process, while Turuchi was severely injured in the incident.

As at the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the authorities of the police station for comments on the statement have proved abortive.

This is coming after some operatives of the SARS team of the Nigerian Police have killed many innocent Nigerians, a development that has continued to trail reactions as notable Nigerians had started to clamour for the total abolition of the Police Squad.

Similarly, this online news platform had reported that some SARS operative had on Saturday, attacked a couple in the Ajegunle area of Lagos who were returning from club J5.

The couple was attacked after the death of Kolade Johnson who was also attacked and killed by these SARS operatives.
