Ruggedman Reacts To Police Killing Of Lady, Shooting Of Boyfriend In Lagos

Policemen have allegedly killed a 20-year-old lady while leaving the young man with her badly injured by in Ajegunle area of Lagos.

As previously reported by this online platform, the girl, identified as Ada Ifeanyi died as a result of the shooting, while the man, Emmanuel Akomafuwa, sustained grievous injuries and doctors are currently battling to save his life.

The incident happened on Saturday, April 13, around 7am.

Naija News reports that this is coming after Kolade Johnson, an innocent Nigeria was killed by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives from the Lagos state police command on Sunday, March 31 while he was watching a football match between Liverpool and Tottenham.

Nigerian rapper and actor, Ruggedman who raise awareness of the incidence through his verified twitter handle, @RuggedyBaba, has also began a protest, asking Nigerians to demand for the killer of the 20-year old as they did, with Kolade Johnson’s case.

He wrote: “Men of the Nigerian Police Force have killed another innocent Nigerian youth. They killed a 20yr old girl in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot and is fighting for his life.

“We demand the death sentence.”
