The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Bauchi State, Mohammed Abubakar, has filed a suit at the Election Petition Tribunal.

The petition was written to the tribunal to challenge the Governor-elect, Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party.

This is coming after the state Governor following the declaration of the PDP governorship candidate as the governor-elect, had conceded defeat and congratulated Bala.

The Bauchi State chapter of APC filed the suit at the Tribunal at 12.30pm on Friday, Naija News understands.

The party’s chairman, Uba Ahmed Nana while speaking to newsmen after filing the petition stated that they sought justice from the tribunal.

“We are here to file a suit on behalf of the APC challenging the results of the governorship election in Bauchi State held some weeks ago.”

“What we want is justice, as always, from the court because we know that the court will do just that.”

“Our prayers are in the petition we filed.”
