Respect Yourself, Biafra Is God-ordained - IPOB Fires Back At Gov. Mohammed

The self-acclaimed leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, says people don’t want Biafra Republic to come into existence because the nation will be different from other nations.

Naija News reports that the IPOB leader made this statement during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra over the weekend.

During the broadcast, Kanu said the National Judiciary Council (NJC) in Nigeria is “based on corruption” in respect to Justice Walter Onnoghen‘s resignation as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).

The IPOB leader added that “none of the judges in Nigeria obey the law”, noting that “everyone is corrupt in Nigeria” including the Acting CJN, Justice Tanko Muhammad.

Kanu, who is currently in the United Kingdom, also berated judges in Nigeria, describing them as “corrupt”.

“Nigerian NJC is based on corruption, none of the judges in Nigeria obey the law. Everyone is corrupt,” he said.

Speaking further, the secessionist leader said Biafra will be known for justice, noting that the country’s judiciary system will be the best in the entire world and not like Nigeria, where her judges don’t obey the law.

His words: “Biafra will be different that’s why they don’t want Biafra to come. They know.

“Everybody knows this that Biafra will be different. Can’t you feel the vibe of Biafra?” he asked.

Meanwhile, Naija News reports that Kanu’s broadcast came after a Federal High Court presided over by Justice Binta Nyako in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, last month, revoked Kanu’s bail and also ordered his immediate arrest.

Kanu is leading a group seeking secession from Nigeria. The group has since been proscribed by the Nigerian government.
