Libya: Shehu Sani Warns African Nations
Senator Shehu Sani (PRP-Kaduna Central) has warned African countries to learn from the predicament of Libya.
The North African country has been in turmoil since the ouster and killing of former dictator Colonel Muammar Gadaffi.
Libya, last year, attracted global condemnation over its involvement in what was described as modern slave trading.
In a post on his Twitter page on Wednesday, Senator Shehu Sani warned that African countries have to deal with their own problems and not expect foreign intervention.
He wrote: “Libya is now back to full-scale war, after a decade of warlordism, left to its own fate; no democracy and no peace.
“Tragic lessons for Africa to learn from, to solve its problems and expect no angels and no miracles from elsewhere.”
