Suspected Hoodlums Chop Off A Man’s Hands In Sokoto State

Sokoto State Police Command has arrested suspects who allegedly chopped off both hands of a middle-aged man in Sokoto, the state capital.

The state Police Command Public Relations Officer, Sadiq Abubakar Mohammed confirmed the arrest on a telephone conversation with TVC

He said the investigation is ongoing and promised that the police will brief the public of the outcome of the investigation as soon as it is concluded.

Habibu Abubakar, a middle-aged man was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after he was attacked by unknown hoodlums who chopped off his hands for reason not known to the public.

Eyewitnesses said the suspects attacked the victim with dangerous weapons in his home at Nakasari area of Sokoto South Local government area of the state at around 2:00am and left him without his two limbs.
