According to Fox News, American actress, Felicity Huffman has agreed to plead guilty to the charges against her.
The media house revealed that the actress and twelve other parents will admit to the charges against them.
The authorities had claimed that their crime includes rigging standardized test scores and bribing coaches as schools like Yale and Georgetown.
Huffman had been accused of paying a consultant, Rick Singer, $15,000 disguised as a charitable donation to boost her daughter’s SAT score.
Investigation into the crime revealed that the actress also discussed the same plan to be carried out for her younger daughter.
However, she is now pleading guilty and may be looking at prison time.
Meanwhile, her fellow actress Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, both of whom are also charged, are not among those who’ve agreed to plead guilty and haven’t publicly addressed the allegations.
