Keyamo Slams Critics Blaming People Of Zamfara For Voting For President Buhari
The Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress’s presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, has reacted to critics mocking the people of Zamfara State for voting for President Muhammadu Buhari during the presidential election.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria stated this after the Zamfara State House of Assembly speaker, Sanusi Rikiji claimed that no fewer than 50 persons including members of the Civilian Joint Task Force were killed last week Tuesday.
Recall that the Presidential candidate of the APC, President Buhari had been declared as the winner of the presidential election in the state.
Some critics while reacting on the crisis in the state which has seen many killed and kidnapped faulted the President’s victory by questioning how voter turnout was higher than Lagos which is not experiencing any crisis.
Keyamo took to his Twitter account to respond to the critics, he said; “Those who’re deriding the people of Zamfara for voting PMB, despite security challenges, are not really shaming them; they’re rather shaming their own Presidential candidate who, in spite of these challenges, was never considered a trustworthy alternative to PMB by the Zamfara people”
